Our event will take place at the foot of the Hubbrücke on the island side. The entrance to the site is located here:

The Elbe meadows are located East of the Elbe at or under the lift bridge on the side of the Rotehorn or city park. Walking distance from Hasselbachplatz in about 10 minutes, either via the Sternbrücke or the Hubbrücke itself.

By train and bus

By public transport you can reach us best with the lines 2, 5, 9, 10 (stop Hasselbachplatz) and walk the rest of the way. Bus line 59 stops at the MDR-Funkhaus stop near the festival grounds.

By car

By car you can get there via the southern access of the Sternbrücke or north via the detour at the Zollbrücke. Parking is available in the parking bays at Heinrich-Heine-Platz (entrance to the city park). Note for navigation devices: To enter the address, we recommend that you enter ‘Kleiner Stadtmarsch 9, Magdeburg’.

Arrival via the Hubbrücke

The Hubbrücke will be open to visitors on the festival days from September 5 to 7. We are in contact with the association for the preservation of the Magdeburger Hubbrücke e.V. and would like to thank them for their kindness and many years of cooperation.

There is no increased risk to safety. The current lockdown relates to the official procedure. The bridge may be crossed again for a limited period for the Kulturbrücke Festival 2025.
