Their music is gentle, yet full of strength: LEYAS CRAVE from Halle create a moving atmosphere that awakens longing and inspires dreaming. The melancholic indie combines thoughts wrapped in poetry with varied arrangements.
Laura Liebeskind, born in Leipzig, set out to unlearn fear. Back in Leipzig, she released her double album “Das Glück” in 2021 in the Great Hall of the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig, which was chosen by MDR Kultur as album of the week in May 2022. It sharpened her eye for social issues: Democracy hostility, misogyny, sexualized violence, hypersensitivity, bullying, the Ukraine war, climate change…
On Saturday you can expect the impressive fire show of the Malabarista from Magdeburg! For more than 18 years Malabarista has been enchanting people with fire, light and acro shows.

There will be a family program: in addition to throwing cans and jumping games, children can be transformed into tigers, princes and princesses, butterflies or pirates with Lisa’s face painting.
Gottfried Haufe works as a freelance event and radio presenter, cultural manager and author from Rostock with residence in Leipzig.
With us, he moderates through Saturday and leads the panel discussion.
