When Simon Becker sits down at the piano, time seems to stand still for a while.

The Magdeburg songwriter sings with great sensitivity about his journey through life. His songs are found objects and snapshots.
Collected, kept, guarded, polished and finally set free. He sings about the stranded and the landed, the resurrected and the chaotic, the lovers and those in love and throws out little lifelines with his songs.

Together with Martin Denzin (Bremen) and Mitch Schlüter (Berlin), Simon Becker has been working on sounds and songs for a long time and you can hear that something fits together really well.
The band has taken a lot of time to search and find themselves anew.
In November 2022, they released the new album “Texas and Back”, which immediately caught the ears of many listeners.
It is an album about wanderlust forgotten in love, unbelievably great moments and finally coming home.
Simon’s gentle euphoria makes you happy and his fine and sensitive view of life is moving.

He sees himself as a singer-songwriter, but influences from folk and pop play just as important a role as modern electronic elements.
